Jon, it was your yellow Z flash. I'll get it to you at the finals.

Lost disc

Postby Laura229 » Sun Dec 17, 2006 4:03 am

Hi all,

Lost a light blue Roc on the right side of 11 at TC3 this past

Friday 12/15. I think it was way up in one of the tall pines along the

side. Let me know if it is found.

Thanks, Laura- Found, 12/19

Mark, thanks for finding the sidewinder... and Mike if you still have that white leapard, thanks I never did find it. Barry suggested I check out this lost disc section, as I obviously have not been on it in a few months.

reading on old post from Barry about "Why can't we go in the pond".. I can't say for sure but I'd guess 1. liability 2. Rec. director John Fisher told me he's scuba certified and plans to personally have an annual or semi-annual time that he fishes out the discs and then wants to sell them at a low price in support of the course.. a nominal return fee to the rightful owner if that can be done or more for general sale of "found discs". I'll have to revisit this when I see him next.

I'm not too swift with this posting process. If you don't know, airbounce is [color=red][b]Paul Brenner[/b][/color]

I just tried to bold and make my name red... it didn't seem to work. I highlighted my name, the pressed the "b" box and set the color pull down to red. What's the deal? Educate me. I see others use the colors to highlight found discs etc..

You did everything right, but I think you must have checked the "Disable BBCode in this post" check box when you posted.

If computers were easy to use, I'd be out of a job.

Well, the disc retriever fell out of my bag at the end of the day at the Haunted Waters Fall Classic. (My paranoid delusion that it fell up into somebody's pocket is completely unfounded.) I've just ordered a replacement, but it is out of stock and won't be here for a couple of weeks. Maybe somebody else has invested in one.

Sorry, -Barry.
